Intergenerational Climate Justice Session

Join us for an inspiring session empowering young advocates in the fight for climate justice across generations. It brings together a diverse group of guests, including plaintiffs from important cases, energetic campaigners, lawyers, and researchers. Together, we'll dive into the pressing need for legal action in the face of the climate crisis. We'll focus on practical solutions like reducing harmful pollutants and safeguarding essential carbon sinks to prevent exceeding the 1.5°C limit.

At this event, our discussion will highlight the ICJ Advisory Opinion on climate change, especially its impact on Small Island States activists.

Youth speakers will also share their real experiences before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the ICJ, shedding light on their campaigns against governments and polluters. Discover how courts can be a powerful tool for young people demanding climate justice as we work towards a sustainable planet for everyone.
