About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Media Lead to drive our online presence, amplify our campaigns, and tell powerful Pacific stories that shift global narratives. This role sits at the heart of our advocacy ecosystem—translating legal wins, multilateral diplomacy, youth mobilisation, and community storytelling into accessible, impactful digital content.
You will lead the development of PISFCC’s digital strategy, manage content pipelines across all platforms, oversee multimedia production, and support major campaigns around the ICJ Advisory Opinion, and youth-led climate justice initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Digital Communications
Develop and implement PISFCC’s digital media strategy (2025–2030), aligned with our advocacy, narrative, and mobilisation priorities.
Lead digital planning for major moments including regional and international campaigns.
Establish and maintain PISFCC’s brand identity, tone, and digital storytelling guidelines.
2. Content Creation & Multimedia Production
Produce high-quality digital content: social media posts, videos, reels, carousels, graphics, toolkits, newsletters, and web content.
Oversee end-to-end production of multimedia assets—concept, scripting, filming, editing, publishing.
Maintain a consistent visual and narrative identity rooted in Pacific culture, youth voice, and climate justice.
3. Platform & Community Management
Manage PISFCC’s social channels (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn,Threads, YouTube) and website.
Manage PISFCC’s mailing list and other online portals and hubs
Monitor analytics and engagement to refine strategy.
Build and engage digital communities across the Pacific and globally.
4. Campaigns & Rapid Response
Deliver digital campaigns tied to advocacy priorities
Lead rapid-response digital communications for international legal or political developments.
Coordinate with the Narrative/Comms Lead and Program Teams for integrated messaging.
Able to travel regionally and internationally for campaigns
Key Competencies & Skills
Essential
Demonstrated experience in digital communications, social media strategy, or multimedia production.
Strong graphic design and video-editing skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.).
Ability to translate complex legal or technical topics into accessible youth-friendly content.
Strong understanding of Pacific issues, youth advocacy, and climate justice narratives.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-stakes advocacy environment.
Desirable
Experience supporting campaigns in multilateral spaces.
Familiarity with media relations and digital press engagement.
Photography, animation, illustration, or motion graphics skills.
Experience working with Pacific youth or grassroots communities.
